Family Travel Tips
Traveling with children is different. It’s certainly different than traveling alone, with another adult or even as part of a group of adults. The very idea of traveling with a child is something that many pregnant and new moms find nerve-wrecking. When my first son was born, I couldn’t wait to show him to the rest of my family and since they were all living outside the U.S., worries about the practicalities of traveling with such a tiny (preemie) baby were easily brushed away with anticipation and excitement.
Since that time, I’ve traveled frequently and widely with one and then two children. By sharing my experiences as family travel tips, I hope I encourage you to get out there and experience the wide world with and through the eyes of your child. It’s an incredible experience.
