We spent 24 hours in Lima on our way from Piura to Nazca. We stayed at the HQ Villa hostel in the Miraflores neighborhood. As we walked from the hostel to the waterfront, the boys spotted this Starbucks and insisted that we take a photo. Guess that’s what happens when you take Seattlites out of Seattle. Heaven help us in China – where there are 250 Starbucks stores – hopefully they won’t feel the need to take a photo in front of each store by then.
Head on over to DeliciousBaby for more travel-themed Friday photo fun.

We went to Borneo for our honeymoon and CRAVED Starbucks (typical Americans) as they only served instant coffee (BLAH) at most establishments. The funny thing? In Brunei and Kota Kinabalu, the main city in the Malaysian part, they had a handful of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf cafes (as in the LA brand) but zero ‘bux! Odd, right?
This post made me smile! We have similar photos from our travels, the most recent being my husband beside a Tennant’s Lager (Scottish lager) sign in Lake Como.
on the other hand, it would make a GREAT blog, bc if you taught what else is in each neighborhood, along with the starbucks, it would be a great read!! tell the boys to get exploring and writing!
