Chu Chi Tunnels Saigon Vietnam

And just about disappearing into the tunnel.

Inside the tunnels showing how small these spaces are – even for a 10-year-old boy who stands at about 5′ tall.

Yikes – I don’t know if I could’ve gone in one, and I’m not even particularly claustrophobic! Just kind of scary, I think.

It really puts those tunnels into perspective when a ten year old can’t stand up in them doesn’t it! We visited there again two years ago – the tunnels were just about perfect for my 4 year old. For the rest of us, crawling through them certainly made us appreciate more what people lived through during the war.

Great photos! I’ve been here and it’s an absolutely fascinating place to visit and learn about the Vietnam war. It was also here that I realised that I do not like being enclosed in small spaces!

I admire you for taking the boys to visit this site – not an easy one to tackle for sure!
