Globe Trekker Winter Supper Series At Joule
Posted on | March 2, 2010 | 2 Comments
There are many great restaurants in Seattle, but Joule, which is practically on my doorstep is one of my favorites. I particularly like their fixed-price Sunday menus “Winter Supper” and “Summer BBQ”. The theme for this year’s winter supper is food from around the world – so we’ve been eating there pretty regularly 🙂
Today’s WanderFood Wednesday photos are from the Chinese New Year dinner on February 21st.

Chilled Noodle Shiitake Mushroom to start.

Followed by Rice Cake Soup with Oxtail Dumplings.
The “main course”: Grilled Banana Leaf Wrapped Rice, Sauteed Escarole with Shrimp and Whole Chicken Confit with a variety of sauces including chili and ginger.

Yum. Yum. Yum.

Sunday supper never looked so delicious! How I would love to be in Seattle to go to the Southern Blues and Izakaya dinner! Definitely a place to try the next time we’re there. Thanks :).
