There are many great restaurants in Seattle, but Joule, which is practically on my doorstep is one of my favorites. I particularly like their fixed-price Sunday menus “Winter Supper” and “Summer BBQ”. The theme for this year’s winter supper is food from around the world – so we’ve been eating there pretty regularly
Today’s WanderFood Wednesday photos are from the Chinese New Year dinner on February 21st.
Chilled Noodle Shiitake Mushroom to start.
Followed by Rice Cake Soup with Oxtail Dumplings.
The “main course”: Grilled Banana Leaf Wrapped Rice, Sauteed Escarole with Shrimp and Whole Chicken Confit with a variety of sauces including chili and ginger.
Yum. Yum. Yum.

Looks like a dangerous place to have right at your doorstep. Yum!
Sunday supper never looked so delicious! How I would love to be in Seattle to go to the Southern Blues and Izakaya dinner! Definitely a place to try the next time we’re there. Thanks :).
