We started our day with a hike on Haleakela.
And had lunch watching the wind-surfers at Ho’okipa Beach.
Had a little afternoon snorkeling at Kapalua Bay.
And watched the sunset over Kaanapali.
All-in-all, a typical, fabulous day on Maui.
Thanks to Debbie for hosting another Photo Friday.

So this could quite possibly be ranked as best blog post ever because of how the reader physically cringes in their seat wanting to be there too! Photos are fabulous, enjoy your trip.
Gorgeousness!
Are you in Hawaii now? I’m jealous! GORGEOUS photos.
@Amie: Good Lord no! I’m in rainy Seattle. A girl has to do something to cheer herself up. These photos are from a trip to Maui in 2004.
@Lorraine: you’re too sweet. It was an awesome day. Although, in the interests of full disclosure, I should admit that it started with a dreadful hangover + I still can’t believe we managed to drag our sorry asses up Haleakela – and hiked into the crater. Maybe the thin air helped our recovery.
Thank you for cheering me up with these amazing pictures! All in one day and who can’t resist going to Hawaii when that is waiting for you.
Beautiful photos but did you have to remind me about that hangover? 2004 and we haven’t been away since, something wrong with that. This take you back?

Mean Trish!
I think that was my largest bar bill ever.
“Hypnotics all around” was the catchphrase of the evening if I remember right.

Had our honeymoon on Maui *sigh* – now up to my armpits in nappies and trips to the supermarket
